Bob Cudmore provides the Story Behind the Story for his most recent Daily Gazette column on horse trainer Hollie Hughes.  Born in Amsterdam, Hughes worked for three generations of the wealthy Sanford family.  He was inducted into the National Museum of Racing's Hall of Fame.
